Research Paper Preparation

Research papers will be submitted to the experts for quality evaluation. Papers for both oral and poster presentations should be 8 to 10 A4 pages long with Times New Roman of 12-point font size. The research components are as follows:

 

            1. Author’s Details

                 1.1 Article Title     

                 1.2 Author’s Name

                 1.3 Advisor’s Name (if any)

                 1.4 Academic / Administrative Position (if any) Faculty / Institution / Department (for footnotes)

            2. Content

                 2.1An abstract written in English (A maximum of 1 page of A4 size is required)with 2-5 keywords

                 2.2 Statement of the Problems

                 2.3 Objectives

                 2.4 Scope of the Study

                 2.5 Definitions (if any)

                 2.6 Research Framework (if any)

                 2.7 Research Hypotheses (if any)

                 2.8 Research Methodology

                        - Population and Sample

                        - Research Instruments

                        - Data Collection

                        - Data Analysis

     2.9. Research Results

     2.10. Discussions

     2.11. Recommendations

     2.12. References

            3. Text Preparation

                 3.1. Paper format must be an A4 sheet with top and left margins of 1.5 inch, bottom and right of 1 inch.

                 3.2. Name of the title must be only 14 pt bold, aligned at the center of the content page. Line and paragraph spacing is single space.

                 3.3. Name(s) of the author and advisor (if any), 12 pt bold, must be typed next to an English title with single space and must be aligned at the right margin.

                 3.4. Footnote consists of an academic title, job position, faculty, major, institution/work place. The footnote font must be 10 pt and placed on the first page.

                 3.5. English abstract font should be 12 pt bold, aligned at the center of the content page. The abstract must be written as “ABSTRACT”. The text of the abstract is 12 pt.

                 3.6. Headings of the research components must be 12 pt bold, aligned at the left margin. The text of the paper should be 12 pt.

                 3.7. Indentation must be started at 0.5 inch.

                 3.8. Tables must be prepared in a consistent form and should be numbered consecutively from 1 until the end of the paper. The order of the tables and captions should be at the same line, typed at the top of the table and aligned with the left margin.

                 3.9. Figure must be prepared in a consistent form and should be numbered consecutively from1 until the end of the paper. Place a figure’s order and caption in the same line.

                 3.10. In-text citation must be strictly followed the APA in-text citation style as (Author, Year, Page).

                 3.11. References must be APA references style and listed in an alphabetical order.

           

 

 

            4. Oral presentation

                 4.1. The presenters must prepare a PowerPoint or any other presentation forms available and send the latest files to the conference moderator in advance for at least 1 hour prior to their speech sessions. The presentation rooms are all equipped with computers and projectors. Should the presenters use other devices, they must initially inform the staff when the paper acceptance is notified.

                 4.2. The presenters must present their works by themselves and answer the questions provided by the experts. The certificates will be provided after the completion of their oral presentations.

                 4.3. The languages available in the oral presentation are Thai and English. The presenters will be allocated 10 minutes for their presentations and 10 minutes for questions and answers.

            5.  Poster Preparation

                 The conference organizer will print out an 80 x 120 cm poster for all the presenters. The poster will be allocated at the given poster presentation area before the conference begins (additional charge is 500 baht). The text given to the organizer must be an A4 format, 18 pt, and it does not exceed 1 paper page. The poster presenters must strictly prepare their texts according to the following headings:

                 5.1. Research Title

                 5.2. Author

                 5.3. Abstract in Englisg language

                 5.4. Introduction

                   5.5. Purposes of the Study

                 5.6. Research Methodology

                 5.7. Research Results

                 5.8. Significance of the Study

                  5.9. Recommendations

            Note: The headings can be subject to change. If there are any captions, charts, and diagrams embedded, the presenters need to prepare the high-quality .jpg files separately from the text. Also, the presenters must send their self-picture dressed up in the appropriate manner in high-quality .jpg files.

            6. Poster Presentation

                The poster presenters should be stationed at their posters at the provided areas and scheduled time in order to present and answer the questions from the experts and audiences. The certificates will be provided after finishing the session.

            Note: If the presenters do not appear at the scheduled time. A notification will be sent to their institutions or workplaces, and the certificates will be retrieved.
